María León denounces the police after her arrest: she points out “crimes of illegal detention and injuries”

His lawyers, Carla Vall and José Antonio Sires, have sent a letter: “A complaint has been filed for the crimes of illegal detention, injuries and against the moral integrity of our client, María León, for the events that occurred in Seville in the early hours of October 1, 2022”.

The alleged attack

The events occurred in the vicinity of Avenida María Luisa in Seville at the beginning of October. According to the version of the authorities, the agents of the Local Police attended the notice of a cyclist who was with signs of drunkenness.

While he was being tested for alcohol, a group of people, including the sister of Paco Leon, began to rebuke the agents and record the scene with their mobile phones, prompting the police to ask for their identification. The actress did not carry her ID, so they urged her to go to the police station in a patrol car.

It was at that moment that the tension soared. In the report, delivered to the Court of Instruction number 18, it is detailed as follows: “The agent goes after her so that she does not escape and when she reaches her, she throws a blow with her fist that hits her right cheek, she loses her balance and In her fall, she kicked her, reaching her left leg, while yelling at her ‘son of a bitch, you’re a bitch'”.
