Movistar Estudiantes player María Eraunzetamurguil will debut with the Women’s National Team in February when she was selected by Miguel Méndez to replace Alba Torrens, who injured her right knee on the last day of the Endesa Women’s League.
The list of 14 called for the preparation of the last two qualifying matches for Eurobasket 2023 is as follows: Cristina Ouviña, Laia Flores, Mariona Ortiz and Sandra Ygueravide; escorts Ángela Salvadores and Andrea Vilaró; forwards María Conde and Laura Quevedo; power forwards Paula Ginzo, Irati Etxarri and María Araujo; and centers Raquel Carrera and Laura Gil.
The Absolute Team will meet on Monday, February 6 in Guadalajara and from there they will travel to Romania, against whom they will play on Thursday the 9th at 5:00 p.m., and then to Iceland to play on Sunday the 12th at 8:45 p.m.
