Marcos Llorente regretted the tie given to Greece in the first qualifying game for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, and admitted that they lacked “fluidity at the top, imbalance and depth.”
“It was a complicated game because they were very organized at the back and although we have tried in every possible way, we have lacked fluidity up top, imbalance and depth to achieve victory,” he analyzed at a press conference.
“We knew that upstairs they weren't going to squeeze us. They are a very orderly team that barely leaves spaces between the lines and it was difficult for us to get depth in the game between the lines. Greece played a great defensive game and made things very difficult for us, ”he added.
