The Real Madrid player Marcelo Vieira assured this Tuesday that “the experience and having won other Champions does not weigh anything”, for which he insisted that they will have to leave “the soul” in the “difficult” Champions final against Liverpool.
“The experience and having won other Champions does not weigh anything. On Saturday it is 50-50. There is a mixture of experienced and young players. All the finals we have played have been very difficult, we have had to almost die on the field, we have to leave my soul on the pitch,” the Brazilian told the media during Real Madrid’s Media Day in Valdebebas.
For the side, who this Saturday (9:00 p.m.) will play his fifth Champions League final with Real Madrid, all European titles generate “pressure” in the merengue team. “They demand a lot from us, all the Champions Leagues are very demanding,” he said.

Finally, Marcelo addressed the issue of his renewal, since his contract ends in June of this year. “I have a clear idea, I want to stay, I have said it 50 times, soon you will know,” he settled.
