The Spanish rider Marc Márquez (Ducati) has achieved pole position for the MotoGP races of the Spanish Grand Prix, the fourth round of the motorcycle World Championship and which takes place at the Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit, the first achieved with the Borgo brand Panigale, while the leader, also Spanish Jorge Martín (Ducati), will start third.

After the downpour early in the morning, the track dried out as the bikes took to the track, especially in a Q2 in which the Italian Franco Morbidelli (Ducati) and the South African Brad Binder (KTM) joined. ), the fastest in Q1.
