The Spanish rider Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda) has assured that his feelings “are not the best” despite the fact that he has managed to finish the first day of free practice for the Malaysian Grand Prix among the top three, and he believes that he has achieved it thanks to the use of the soft tire.
“Today I was able to finish in the top three and it is largely due to the strategy we used. I used the soft tire directly in FP1 because I know that being in the top ten from the start is very important here. But honestly, our feelings are not the best and there are still things to improve to feel more comfortable on the track,” he said in statements provided by his team.
