Marc Márquez obtains the visa and travels to India

MADRID, 20 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish MotoGP rider Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda) has finally obtained the necessary visa to enter India and is now traveling to the Asian country, to be able to be this Friday at the start of the Indian Grand Prix at the circuit of Buddh.

“We already have a visa! Madrid-London-Delhi,” the Cervera pilot published an hour ago on his social networks, already inside the plane that will take him to India via England. An expected visa whose absence jeopardized his presence on the new World Cup layout, in a Grand Prix that opens this season.

Márquez will have to know the details and secrets of the Buddh International Circuit, in the new Indian Grand Prix that lands in the championship and from which Márquez hopes to leave with more points, starting this Thursday and with hardly any time to adapt to the time change.

The Buddh International Circuit will host the first ever MotoGP weekend in the country, the Indian Grand Prix. The 4.96 kilometer route has 8 right-hand corners and 5 left-hand corners and there will be 12 laps in the sprint race on Saturday and 24 in the race on Sunday.

“I am very excited to meet all the fans in India. It is always nice when MotoGP arrives in a new country, with new people and new fans to share our sport and our passion,” said this week the man from Cervera, who scored in Montmeló and Misano.
