MADRID, 14 May. (EURPOA PRESS) –
The Spanish MotoGP rider Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda) was satisfied with the way he was riding and enjoying this Sunday at the French Grand Prix, a return after injury that did not have the reward of the podium for which he was fighting due to a fall to two laps from the end, but that did not prevent him from leaving “very happy”.
“I’m very happy with today’s race; I was able to ride like I hadn’t for a long time and I really enjoyed the bike. Unfortunately, the final result is not what we wanted, but I spent the whole race fighting and on the limit”, he said in statements provided by his team.
The man from Cervera fought again with the best but could not finish the race at Le Mans with that crash when he was second. “We had a very busy weekend, with a lot of work, and a podium would have been a great reward, especially for my team who have continued to work at their maximum. We still have to go a little further to fight like this every weekend.” pointed.
“As for the crash, it was at turn 7, but it started at turn 6, when I was shaken a lot and I didn’t arrive with the perfect line. I think we had a real MotoGP race today; it was a great show for all the fans that have come this weekend”, finished.
