“Manolo was essential for me to come to Malaga”

Víctor Gómez has landed standing up in La Rosaleda. The right-back, on loan from Espanyol, has established himself wonderfully in the team and has become a key piece for José Alberto, who knows him well from his time at Mirandés and knows all the football he has inside.

You do not have to put any type of objective. The team has to think about trying to win the Girona game and time will put us in our place. We cannot think now about the playoffs or if we are going to be in relegation places. We have to think about improving what we did in Almería, trying to pass over Girona and so on every week. That will be the good way and if it is that way, things will be nice. I come to help, to give my best and fight for what the team fights”, He assured.

At Espanyol he coincided with two ex-Malaguistas, Keidi Bare and Sergi Darder.
