Mallorca announced this Sunday that it is suspending the training of its first team “until further notice”, in order to comply with the recommendations made by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) to stop all activity due to the coronavirus crisis.
The Balearic club was one of the few members of LaLiga that had maintained its training schedule and, in fact, the players exercised all this week under the command of coach Vicente Moreno.
Footballers will follow training guidelines ordered by the coaching staff from their respective homes.
The vermilion club, likewise, leaves it up to each player the possibility of being interviewed by the media, requests that will be handled by the press department, as it is a “delicate” situation, according to a spokesman.
Mallorca had to play this Saturday against FC Barcelona at the Son Moix stadium and next week they were going to visit the Villarreal field, but both games, and all those corresponding to matchdays 28 and 29, have been suspended due to the Covid pandemic- 19.
