Málaga’s salary limit varies by €100,000 compared to the summer

Málaga has seen its salary limit slightly altered after the winter market. The sports movements in the offices of Martiricos were limited in January to the arrivals of Aleix Febas and Álvaro Vadillo, at the departure of Iván Calero and the change in the bench, where Natxo González disembarked after the departure of José Alberto. These operations have led to a decrease in Malaga’s salary limit of about 100,000 euros.

Thus, the Blue and White League Salary it has gone from 12,789,000 to 12,688,000 euros. The difference is minimal and the figure, despite having been made public this Monday by LaLiga, does not correspond to the cost of the Malaga 2021-22 squad. According to official data, the La Rosaleda team has the fifth highest salary limit in the Second Division, only surpassed by Eibar (30.1), Valladolid (29.8), Leganés (26.4) and Huesca (19.7) , but its template is not the fifth most expensive in the category.

And it is that, as was the case when the data was announced at the beginning of the season, in those 12.6 million assigned to Malaga, the amount corresponding to the CVC fund is accounted for which is applied to the League Salary, just over 6 million euros. Nevertheless, Those more than six million will be used by Malaga spread over three years, the current one and the next two. Therefore, only just over two million are those that the club has added to its salary limit for this season.

Thus, the amount that Malaga has available to make its sports project has been estimated at around 8.5 kilos, of which the club has not used close to a million according to the sports director himself, Manolo Gaspar, at the beginning of February. In those nearly 8.5 million, the non-registrable part must be included, which includes structure and which in the case of Malaga represents around 1.8 million. The cost that Malaga has invested in the preparation of the first team for the 2021-22 financial year is set at over six millionnumbers that are far from those 12.7 million that LaLiga has made public. The sources consulted by AS assure that the amount that Málaga has not used will be added to the salary limit for the 2022-23 season.
