Malaga is watching Munir, Keidi, Cristian, Escassi and Dani Barrio

LaLiga has refused to expand the Second Division to 24 teams as required by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF). This fact brings about the official confirmation of the descent to Second B of Numancia and Deportivo. It is a situation that collaterally influences Malaga and that brings the club closer to making official the signings of goalkeeper Dani Barrio and central Alberto Escassi, both players from the Soria team and with a release clause from their contract in case of relegation.

It is a situation similar to what happens with Cristian Rodríguez, an Extremadura midfielder who has very advanced contacts and in the absence of only the signature. The Extremaduran team had also filed a lawsuit proposing a League of 26. This may be the reason why the paperwork could not be closed. Something similar happens to Tenerife with Gio Zarfino because it also has a contract release clause in case of going down to the lower category.

The arrival of Dani Barrio would be related to the more than probable departure of Munir whose transfer is negotiated with Leganés as advanced by As. The Moroccan international, with a contract in force until 2021, contemplates this possibility only to help Malaga. The transfer of Keidi Bare to Espanyol is still on hold.

And in this context of precariousness, the judicial administrator's work continues to undertake the drastic salary reduction of the highest contracts, between 80 and 90%. Either that or change of scene. Those affected have started a series of consultations with the AFE. Times of radical change in Malaga.

While that happens, Orlando Sá, the Portuguese forward whose signing was announced on Thursday by the club, is already training with his new colleagues within the severe protocol implemented after the coronavirus crisis.
