Málaga: from referee mistreatment to debate in goal

Allegations to Competition by Escassi. The midfielder was sent off after seven minutes of play in Gijón for an action on Gragera, which the Navarrese referee Galech Apezteguía interpreted as a direct red, thus conditioning the development of a match that Málaga ended up losing. The discomfort in the club is evident and in the elaboration of the allegations that are going to be presented to the Competition Committee there is a similar entry from Barcelona's Gavi, who was only refereed with a yellow card. The objective is that Escassi can be next Sunday against Fuenlabrada.

Too many cardstock. In these seven days of the championship, Málaga has suffered 22 cautions and three expulsions (two Escassi and the other Haitam). Excessive referee punishment for a team that is one of the highest shooters in the category. During the first half against Sporting, four yellows, one red and only eight fouls committed. Luis Muñoz, with four yellows, is the first warning. To top it off, Paulino got an elbow from Gragera only solved with yellow. Unequal criterion?

Ineffectiveness out. Beyond bad afternoons with the referees, the reality is that Malaga away from home does not work. He only got one point. The least along with Girona and Amorebieta. Very different from last season where he won eight games beyond La Rosaleda. This is an aspect to correct.

Debate in goal. Dani Martín was a Trending Topic on Twitter. His actions, since he acceded to the ownership to the detriment of Dani Barrio, are not convincing and the debate on which of the two 'Danis' from Gijón should play has been reopened. He is criticized for being able to do more with Sporting's two goals. In the first because he shrugged his arm in Djurdjevic's vaseline and in the second by Gaspar because the shot went to his short post.

Habemus 80th anniversary! The 80th anniversary party of the inauguration of La Rosaleda already has a new and definitive date. It will be on October 5 at 8:00 p.m. The event, initially scheduled for September 14, was postponed due to the tragic fires that have devastated part of Sierra Bermeja and the Genal Valley. The Faithful Malagistas are invited and must download their ticket in their corresponding Private Area.
