Romelu Lukaku will be absent from the Belgian team this Wednesday in the Nations League match against Poland due to a right ankle injury suffered in last Friday’s defeat against the Netherlands (1-4).
The Chelsea striker was injured in a clash with Manchester City defender Nathan Aké. Lukaku had to retire in the 27th minute, when he was relieved by Trossard.

Belgium announced that Lukaku, who had already received a blow in training before the match against the ‘oranje’, is receiving treatment and will not be able to play against Poland.
However, Belgium did not make it clear whether Lukaku will be in a position to face Wales on Saturday or Poland on the 14th, always in Group A matches of League A of the Nations League.
