Luis Martínez-Laforgue, former vice president of Madrid, dies

Real Madrid has announced the death of Luis Martínez-Laforgue, who was vice president of the club between 1982 and 1985. The news has been transmitted through an official statement in which condolences are sent to his family and friends. Martinez-Laforgue he was member 4,836 of the white set.

“Real Madrid, its president and its Board of Directors deeply regret the death of Luis Martínez-Laforgue, Vice President of Real Madrid between 1982 and 1985. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Real Madrid from 1979 to 1985 and patron of the Real Madrid Foundation during the presidency of Florentino Pérez since 2000. He was a member of Real Madrid since 1969 and he was currently member number 4,836” reads the text.

“Real Madrid wants to express its condolences and his love and affection to all his family and loved ones. Luis Martínez-Laforgue has died at the age of 84. Real Madrid extends its condolences to all of Real Madrid,” he concludes.
