Luis García Plaza will lead Alavés

The Babazorro club announced the arrival of the former Mallorca coach, who signs for one season and takes on the challenge of returning the team to the First Division

Luis Garcia Plaza will lead to Deportivo Alaves in Second divisionwith the aim of returning the team to the top flight next season.

The 49-year-old from Madrid signed with the Vitorian club for one season and will replace Julio Velazquez on the Victorian bench.

Garcia Plaza It has already been promoted twice to the First Division with the Levante and the Mallorca and with 21 years on the bench, he will put his experience at the service of the club from Vitoria.

After starting at Altea, Villajoyosa and Benidorm, he went through Elche, Getafe, Villarreal, as well as Levante and Mallorca.

In international football, he has played for Baniyas in the United Arab Emirates, Beijing Renhe in China and Al Shabab in Saudi Arabia.
