“PSG is going to improve and grow as a team”

The Paris Saint-Germain coach, Luis Enrique Martínez, took this Wednesday's “suffering” as normal to draw (1-1) with Borussia Dortmund as well as Group F of the Champions League, to achieve the ticket to round of 16 on the last day and have the option to continue improving.
“Suffering, that's my last name. It's a lack of football and we coaches all suffer, even those of us who are in big teams and usually win more games than you lose. Suffering is more for our families,” he said in statements to Movistar Plus, collected by Europa Press.
The Spanish coach recalled the difficulty of his group, with Newcastle and Milan, and was confident that PSG will continue to grow by the time the matches of the top continental competition arrive. “It was the group of death. The most competitive group. We could have resolved the classification in the previous game against Newcastle, we didn't and today we had to suffer here. We have generated, I would say, four very clear scoring chances, but the rival has also had its opportunities,” he said.
“It was a very disputed match and group. The last five minutes, when we saw that Milan was ahead on the scoreboard, a tie was worth it to us and we tried to circulate more to try to get some very clear chances and, above all, not fitting in,” he added.
“We are very confident that between now and February we will continue to improve, we will continue to grow as a team. We must not forget that there are 11 new players, a new coaching staff, a different idea of the game and I think we are in a good position in League and in the Champions League I am sure that we are going to improve,” he concluded.
