Luis Enrique: “Everything has gone perfectly”

Luis Enrique could not hide his happiness after sealing the first classification for a Final four of a Spanish team that starred in the biggest exhibition in recent times. “These are the nights that are rarely seen”, acknowledged the coach, “everything you plan comes out perfectly. The players came out very plugged in and when there is quality and attitude these things can happen ”, said a smiling Luis Enrique, aware of having seen the best game of his own since he donned the national team tracksuit. “We have tried to make the approach as similar as possible to the European qualifiers and the players and the team have been outstanding,” he applauded.

“Germany has gotten its best eleven with the exception of Kimmich (injured), repeated 10 players except Kroos from the last game and we have done more rotations, “said Lucho, who emphasized all the good things his boys did. “We pressed very well, we were precise in the preparation and it was a great match. The players will use this reinforcement, it will be nice to play the Final four”, He continued Luis Enrique, happy for the level exhibited by his forwards.

“In this qualifying phase we have deserved a lot more. We have played well and we have not deserved to lose any game “, valued the coach. “Customizing someone would be unfair even though there has been a great individual level. We have minimized Germany in defense and that is everyone's job. We do not speculate and we continue with our line although sometimes it turns out worse or better ”, he insisted.

“I am happy with the result for the players, for them it is a reinforcement. I've always said I was optimistic and it wasn't a pose. It has to serve the players to remain motivated and excited. To come here they have to fly in their clubs ”, he said.

“Maybe it serves to excite the fans and convince the disbelievers,” he said about the result. “The players know they have the level. The objective has been achieved and we are very excited to play the Final Four ”, continued Lucho.

“They have a lot of quality, we reached the goal in an elaborate way, I wish we had a striker who scored all the goals but it is not like that. The objective is to try to take the game to the areas in which we are better ”, analyzed the Asturian, who regretted the muscular injuries of Channels Y Bouquets.

“They are minor injuries, they are not serious, but it hurts me and it tastes bad for the clubs when a player is injured with his national team. I know what that is and it hurts ”, acknowledged the coach.
