The Celta de Vigo has made official the incorporation of Luis Campos as an external advisor to the sports management. The Portuguese will combine this position with his responsibilities in the PSGwho last week confirmed that he will be in charge “of the organization, recruitment and performance of the men’s team.”
Louis Fieldsconsidered one of the most influential men in European football, had previously served as sporting director for Lille and Monaco and was a member of the coaching staff at Jose Mourinho in his stage in Real Madrid.
In his statement, the Celta confirms that the Portuguese had been working as an external advisor for months. “The will of both parties is that the relationship extends over time for many more years,” says the statement, where it is announced that Juan Carlos Calero will be the coordinator of the first team.
