The Italian driver Luca Marini and the Mooney VR46 Racing Team announced this Saturday the end of their relationship, after six years, amid rumors that an imminent announcement of his signing for Respol Honda is expected in the face of the departure of the Spanish Marc Márquez.
The VR46 confirmed that Marini will leave the team at the end of the 2023 season, which ends this Sunday with the Valencia Grand Prix race. The Italian’s arrival at Repsol Honda is taken for granted in the paddock in the absence of official confirmation.
“I have spent most of my Championship career in this team, so many of the most significant moments of my career so far are linked to this group of people. We have grown together and we have had a lot of satisfaction,” he said. the Italian in the official statement.
