The Madrid singer and composer, one of the most internationally recognized Spanish stars, was honored this Wednesday in the capital. At 55 years old, Alejandro Sanz has been named ‘Person of the year 2024’ for his contribution to the arts and his dissemination of Spanish culture in the world at a gala organized by Vanity Fair to which many friends have attended. The artist, author of the famous Broken Hearthas appeared very well accompanied by his girlfriend, Candela Marquezwith whom he is deeply in love: “She is an incredible woman,” has said.

As discreet as he is passionate, Sanz has been full of compliments with the actress, whose courtship he made official on November 14 at an event in Miami. Before, they had already attended Paco León’s birthday together and had been photographed in a loving attitude on the singer’s pier: “We are very happy and I am living a very beautiful moment”he has confessed. He is so excited that he does not even rule out a future wedding: “Who knows…”, he responded. Alejandro and Candela have dressed in matching dresses in a perfect elegant and sophisticated ‘black & white’: he, with a classic two-tone tailored suit and bow tie; she, with a flattering black dress by Vicky Martín Berrocal, very tight, with marked shoulder pads and a fringed border that gave a very chic touch to the design.

A multitude of well-known faces have wanted to accompany the singer on this special night, such as Eugenia Martínez de Irujo y Narcís Rebollopresident of Universal, the record company for which Sanz worked until 2023. The duchess has added a romantic touch to the night with a vintage-style dress with transparencies and lace that she has combined with a leather jacket.

The sisters Martín Berrocal, Vicky and Rocíohave worn very different looks: the first, a sophisticated bottle green dress with draping at the waist and chest that finished with a fluid skirt; the second, with a three-piece set (jacket, top and pants) of silver embroidered rhinestones.

Hiba Abouk has been one of the most original with a dress with a geometric structure. The model featured a printed lycra base and a rigid, superimposed piece that simulated a vest-skirt pairing with gold buttons. She has combined it with very simple sandals, a ‘wet-look’ updo and hoop earrings.

More classic Blanca Romero and Lucía Rivera. Mother and daughter have posed separately: the first in a black satin pencil skirt dress and a white pleated bodice with black trim; The second has opted for a midi skirt and top with a leather texture set.

The title for the sexiest of the night has gone to Silvia Abascal. The actress has taken a risk with a paillette jumpsuit with a deep neckline and fluid pants combined with a matching blazer. Beautiful.
