Louzán meets with non-professional competition clubs: “The challenge now is to work and walk together”

The president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Rafael Louzán, met this Thursday in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), where the Spanish Super Cup is being held, with 46 representatives of non-professional competition clubs, to whom he informed that “The challenge now is to work and walk together,” according to a statement.

“In the midst of the 2025 Spanish Super Cup, Thursday morning in Jeddah served to hold a fruitful meeting between the president of the RFEF and a large representation of non-professional football,” the entity reported on its website.

The RFEF carried out the initiative by which a group of clubs from different non-professional competitions came to Jeddah to enjoy the Super Cup, in addition to listening to their proposals and points of view in the context of a competition whose income is mainly reverted to the non-professional football. “You are the Federation and you must give your opinion because you act as first-person witnesses,” Louzán began his speech.

Accompanied by part of his board of directors, the president of the RFEF highlighted “the opportunity in terms of branding and promotion that the agreement for the Spanish Super Cup represents for all non-professional football and for Spain as a whole, because at Spanish football is loved in the world.

“A management based on transparency in which arbitrary decisions do not fit, but rather listening and active management. The challenge now is to work and walk together,” Louzán defended in his speech before 46 representatives of clubs of all non-professional categories. , both men and women, in the meeting held between the dispute of the first and second semi-finals of the Super Cup, whose outcome will be experienced this coming Sunday with the final at the Al Awhal stadium in Jeddah.

The current situation of the different categories, the reinforcement of the attention to incidents towards the clubs or the economic management of the sports entities were some of the issues addressed during this meeting that “aims to become a periodic activity.”
