Liverpool adds and continues: very close to closing Diogo Jota

Liverpool is definitely stretching as far as the transfer market is concerned. Diogo Jota, until now Wolverhampton winger, lands at Anfield in exchange for 45 million euros, which could reach almost 50 if certain objectives are met, according to reports The Athletic. From England they point out that the official status of the signing is a matter of time and also announce the departure of Ki-Jana Hoever, a promising 18-year-old Dutch central defender, in the other direction. Hoever would join Nuno's roster, 10 million through. This last operation could reach up to 14 according to various clauses and, in addition, the 'red' set saves 15% of a possible sale of the player.

The incorporation of Jota represents a category reinforcement for the English champion, since, to his proven quality, he adds a versatility that allows you to play in any of the three attack positions, something fundamental in a scheme like Jurgen Klopp's. Thus, you can give rest to Sadio Mané, Roberto Firmino or Mo Salah, indistinctly. The Portuguese arrived at Molyneux Stadium in the summer of 2017, in exchange for 14 million euros, coming from Atlético de Madrid, where, between assignments, he did not make his debut.

In his 131 games with the Wolves, Jota has scored 44 goals and distributed 19 assists., forming a fantastic partnership with Raúl Jiménez and Adama Traoré. ANDn his last year he has signed 16 goals and 6 assists, shining both in the Premier and in the Europa League, a competition in which he scored six goals in the eight games he played, until Sevilla defeated them in the quarterfinals (0-1).

Third signing, fourth outing

Once your signing is officially announced, Jota will become the third reinforcement for Jurgen Klopp in the current market, the second in two days. Kostas Tsimikas arrived first to give Robertson a rest on the left side, while this Friday Thiago was announced in exchange for 30 million. The Spanish international was an express request of the German coach. Ki-Jana Hoever, meanwhile, becomes the team's fourth outing, after those of Dejan Lovren (to Zenit), Adam Lallana (to Brighton) and Ovie Ejaria (to Reading). Liverpool have waited, but has finally hit the market to show that they don't want to rest on their laurels.
