Live a virtual Meet & Greet with a tennis player from the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell

The Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell returns after the last edition, 2020, was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, this year tennis lovers will be able to enjoy the 68th edition of this historic tournament that will be held at the Real Club de Tenis de Barcelona from tomorrow, April 17, until the 25th of this month.

The good news is that, in addition, the tournament may have up to 1,000 spectators in the stands, 12% of the total capacity, following sanitary restrictions. All these fans will be able to enjoy in situ up to three 'Top 10' of the ATP ranking: the big star, Rafael Nadal (3rd), who will seek to achieve his twelfth victory in Barcelona; greek Stefanos Tsitsipas (5th) and the Argentine Diego schwartzman (9th).

Other great tennis players also participate, such as Roberto Bautista (12th), Pablo Carreño (15th), Feliciano lopez, the Bulgarian Grigor dimitrov and the japanese Kei nishikori, twice tournament champion.

Prize of a double entry to the Open

As if this were not enough, Banc Sabadell, the main sponsor of the tournament, wants you, the tennis fan, to be closer than ever to your idols. So, From March 31 to April 15, a first initiative on social networks was active to achieve a double entry for the Open.

The contest consisted of publishing a video on RRSS under the hashtag #BCNOpenBSLover, where users demonstrated their skills with a racket and a ball. April 9th, David ferrer, director of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell, chose four finalists taking into account their technical ability. Among those four video finalists, the one most voted by users won the award.

Win a unique experience: a virtual Meet & Greet with a tennis player from the tournament

Now, Banc Sabadell wants to reward fans of the racket sport again. In this second initiative, which begins today and ends on April 21 at 10:00 a.m. (Peninsular time), another contest is launched so that the winner can enjoy a Virtual Meet & Greet (via video call) on April 23 with one of the winning tennis players from the quarterfinals.

To win, you have to follow a series of steps:

  • Upload a photo of yourself in the tournament or a photo of the tournament that you like to your RRSS (Twitter and / or Instagram) mentioning the official profile of Banc Sabadell (@Sabadell Bank) and tournament profile (@bcnopenbs).
  • Mention a maximum of two users / people with whom you would like to share the unforgettable virtual Meet & Greet experience with a tennis player.
  • Do not forget that the publications must be made from a public profile, not a private one, that you follow the tournament account (@bcnopenbs) and that on Instagram must be published in a 'feed', it is not the 'stories'.
