Lillo signs for Numancia for the next two seasons

Manuel Castellano Castro, known in football terms as Lillo, has become this Saturday the sixth reinforcement of C. D. Numancia 20-21. A proven player, who He is called to be one of the leaders of the Numantine team in this new stage in Second B.

Lillo, born on March 27, 1989 in Aspe (Alicante) is a defender trained in the quarry of Valencia C. F. and who can act both as a central defender and as a winger. With notable experience in the First Division (Valencia, Almería, Eibar, Osasuna) and Second Division (Elche, Eibar, Sporting de Gijón, Osasuna), he has become an international under-17, under-19, under-20 and under-21 with the Spanish team. Until January of this year, Lillo has been part of the staff of C. A. Osasuna, coach of Jagoba Arrasate. In January 2020, he terminated his contract with the Navarrese club to live an experience of a few months at Maccabi Haifa in Israel.
