Lidl, sponsor of the 2023 Cycling World Cup in Scotland

MADRID, 7 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Lidl supermarket chain will be a sponsor of the 2023 World Cycling Championship, which will be held in Glasgow and other locations in Scotland from August 3 to 13, as the ‘Official Fresh Food Partner’ of the competition, it reports in a statement.

With this alliance, Lidl intends to convey to the population the importance of sport on a day-to-day basis and raise awareness of the value of nutrition that leads a healthy lifestyle.

The company is committed to facilitating the tools for making responsible purchasing decisions and access to fresh, healthy food, and the best value for money for its customers.

The 2023 Cycling World Cup, which will stand out for its concern for sustainability, will have the participation of more than 6,000 amateur and elite cyclists from more than 120 countries, who will compete in 13 different disciplines.
