Letizia lends a cable to a clueless presenter in the middle of the act: “Are you okay?”

The kings have resumed their official agenda on Monday after the trip to Angola, which kept them away from Spain for three days. It has happened at the Niemeyer Center. The designer Javier Cañada was in charge of presenting the act and by mistakenly skipping one of the script cards, he left the award-winning Alba González Álvarez, Young Designer Award, without calling the stage. Embarrassed, he apologized: “Sorry, my nerves…”. Doña Letizia, who knows well what it is to face the crowds, affectionately approached her to ask: “Are you okay?” The moment ended with smiles and applause for Cañada.

It was not the only anecdote of the day. A group of 200 toilets have approached the Niemeyer center in Avilés to protest the working conditions and have appealed to the queen’s empathy to get her attention. On one of the banners, you could read: “Letizia, partner, your mother was a nurse.”
