Letizia, in white and camel, inaugurates the Instituto Cervantes in Los Angeles with María Valverde and Kate del Castillo

The queen has captured all eyes this Tuesday at 3375 Barham Bulevard, where she has inaugurated the new headquarters of the Cervantes Institute. She has done so accompanied by those responsible for the project and some well-known faces in the world of culture and art, such as actresses Maria Valverde (with her husband, the conductor Gustavo Dudamel) y Kate del Castillo.

Lady Letizia has changed the total look in red with which it premiered in The Angels for a simple but sophisticated white midi-length dress, marked waist and slightly puffed sleeves. Covering her shoulders a camel trench coat and pumps with matching crossed straps.


The queen has unveiled a commemorative plaque and has toured the facilities of the new headquarters, such as the library, baptized with the name of Pedro Almodóvar in homage to the acclaimed director from La Mancha. Finally, Doña Letizia has signed her honor book.


The act was also attended by the Secretary of State for Ibero-America and the Caribbean and Spanish in the World, Juan Fernández Trigo; the director of the Cervantes Institute, Luis García Montero; and Luisgé Martín, who assumes the management of the Los Angeles headquarters.
