Letizia debuts in Avilés a fitted dress and sock-effect boots, ideal for these Christmas dates

The Queen Letizia presided over an event this Tuesday in Avilés, for which she debuted a crimson dress ideal for these Christmas dates. The Asturian consort has chaired the annual meeting of directors of centers of the Cervantes Institute, a public institution created by Spain in 1991 to universally promote the teaching, study and use of Spanish and contribute to the dissemination of Hispanic cultures abroad.

The mother of Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía has chosen a fitted dress, with a round neck, long sleeves and midi length, which she has completed with a wide black belt to enhance her slim silhouette. A black cape coat from Carolina Herrera has done the rest, in addition to the black square-heeled boots that she has chosen to complete this very wintery and pre-Christmas look. They are from El Corte Inglés and give a different touch to the outfit thanks to their wrinkles on the shaft, giving a sock effect.

The queen, who has been received by the president of the organization, Luis García Monteroand the president of Asturias, Adrian Barbónarrived at the Oscar Niemeyer International Cultural Center around twelve o'clock this Tuesday, December 19.

In its activities, the Cervantes Institute fundamentally addresses the linguistic and cultural heritage that is common to the countries and peoples of the Spanish-speaking community. It is present in 88 cities in 45 countries, through its centers, classrooms and extensions, on five continents. In addition, it has two headquarters in Spain, the headquarters in Madrid and the headquarters in Alcalá de Henares.

Prepared for Christmas

This Sunday, December 24, King Felipe VI will give the traditional speech from Zarzuela. On December 12, the Royal Family published its traditional Christmas. This year, the photograph chosen by the kings was taken on October 31, the day Princess Leonor turned 18 and swore the Constitution before the Cortes Generales. “All our affection,” she read in the congratulations. New portraits of Leonor and Infanta Sofía have also been published.
