Leonor will take two courses in one at the Military Academy and will go to the hairdresser’s the first day: out of hair

There are six days left for the Princess of Asturias to enter the Military Academy of Zaragoza and there everything is ready to receive her. This Friday, the Minister of Defense has supervised the facilities: “We want to give maximum normality to the presence and training of the princess at the Academy.”

Daisy Robles has revealed that he spoke with Leonor last July and that the young woman was very excited about this new stage: “Military training is very demanding, and demanding, but at the same time gives leadership qualities and, above all, values, humanity and camaraderie, which I think are very important”, he said.

For his part, the director of the AGM, Manuel Pérez López, has commented that the daughter of the kings will be in the I Battalion of Cadet and will enter with other 612 cadets in the first promotion (of which 140 are women). On September 1, the rest of the 2009 that are currently in Zaragoza will join. After the Jura de Bandera on October 7, Leonor will go to the second promotion because a specific study plan has been designed for her that allows her to take two courses in one: “The subjects have been condensed so that from her arrival until October 7, when she is expected to swear in the flag together with the rest of her classmates, the Princess will finish the first year. And from that date she will join the second year”, has indicated.

He has also commented on how the first days of the heiress in Zaragoza will be: “She will be placed with her companions in rooms (there are rooms for two, four or twelve people), she will receive her basic military equipment and will go to the hairdresser’s”. And it is that the Army regulations regarding personal appearance are very demanding: no earrings, no manicure or long hair. Women, specifically, must collect their hair in a low bun that they will hold with a net and that will always expose the collar of the military shirt. The hairpins, if they carry them, always the color of their hair so that they do not stand out.

The training is carried out from Monday to Friday internally with weekend permits, except those that are intended for manoeuvres.
