Leonor, on the way to the Naval Academy: the entry of midshipman Borbón and her embarkation in Elcano

Princess Leonor, in uniform, goes viral. We have seen her parade, in the flag oath and on the day of the National Day in full Army uniform. The next step is the Navy.

The princess will complete the course at the General Military Academy of Zaragoza on June 19. It will be in a closing ceremony, as indicated in the calendar of activities of the University Defense Center. It is a coincidence that that same day Felipe VI celebrates the 10th anniversary of his proclamation.

On that date, June 19, cadet Leonor will have completed her cycle in the Army. Her next stage is Marín. In the Pontevedra town, the daughter of Felipe VI and Letizia will enter the Naval Academy and will embark on the Juan Sebastián Elcano Training Ship. In the Navy, Leonor will join as a Midshipman.

His time at La General, since last August, has provided him with essential basic experience to adapt to military life, instructions and training, day or night regardless of the weather. Also, to experience the values ​​of the Army, such as camaraderie, one of the foundations of the AGM, as highlighted by the director of the center, Francisco José Gómez Ramos, when he welcomed the new students, among whom Leonor was there. In the second year of her military service, the heiress will study at the Defense University Center of the Naval Academy, where the degree in Mechanical Engineering in Naval Technologies and the university master’s degree in ICT management for Defense are taught, as stated by the school in your website. She will begin with a reception phase, designed for new students and, after that training period, she will embark on the training ship.
