Leonor forgets adolescence at her graduation, in red, made up like a woman and with a high heel

Princess Eleanor has celebrated her graduation at the UWC Atlantic College of Wales and has celebrated the event in style with her classmates. The Heiress has therefore completed the International Baccalaureate.

Like the rest of the students, the Princess of Asturias has been accompanied by her relatives. The Kings and the Infanta Sofía have traveled to the United Kingdom for the occasion, as we see in the images distributed by the Royal House.

The eldest daughter of Don Felipe and Doña Letizia has opted for such an important event for a minidress of Appearance (400 euros) in red. The tuxedo-style model is made of crepe, in the shape of a long double-breasted blazer with six covered buttons and a V-neckline with collar and lapels. For footwear, she has chosen a 200-euro metallic sandals from Mint & Rose (a firm that her mother has used sometimes) with a 10-centimeter heel and platform and ankle bracelet. A height much higher than what the princess normally wears. Her image has also been more mature thanks to makeup and painted nails. The handbag, matching the sandals, is also from Mint & Rose.

Infanta Sofía has opted for a two-piece sky blue trouser outfit made up of a slightly puffed long-sleeved blouse with gathered details on the neck and matching flared pants and silver shoes. The two sisters have chosen loose blonde hair parted in the middle, although in the youngest she wears it somewhat wavy.

Solemn ceremony

His Highness’ graduation has been a solemn ceremony, without cap and gown but with speeches and awarding of titles. For the first time, the UWC Atlantic school has not broadcast the ceremony live through any of its broadcast channels, neither on YouTube nor on its official Instagram page, as was the case up to now in this center. Alexia, the middle daughter of the kings of the Netherlands, has also graduated from the International Baccalaureate, who has also attended the same center as our future queen.

Summer vacation and military academy on August 17

Princess Leonor will have to join the General Military Academy of Zaragoza on August 17 to begin her military training and thus follow in the footsteps of her father, King Felipe VI, according to a provision of the Ministry of Defense published this Tuesday in the Official State Gazette (BOE).

The order of the Undersecretary of Defense regulates the selection process for admission to military training centers and establishes that those chosen will have to appear on August 17, before 10:00 a.m., at the chosen school.

In the case of Leonor, the princess will begin her military training at the General Academy of the Army of Zaragoza, where she will be a student in one year from the first year until the oath of allegiance, to continue later with the second year.

The second year he will continue with his military training at the Marín Naval School, in Pontevedra, where he will embark on the Juan Sebastián Elcano training ship; while the third year he will complete the fourth course at the General Air and Space Academy in San Javier (Murcia).

Upon arrival at the Academy, Leonor will have the opportunity to tour the center’s facilities with her relatives, just like her classmates. Later she will be framed in the I Cadet Battalion and she will meet the military commanders who will be in charge of her instruction.

Then begins a module for adaptation to military life and the students are housed in cabins with capacity for two, four or up to twelve people; they go through the hairdresser, they are given their basic military equipment and they begin with their first sessions of closed order.

The regime is boarding school, with a regular program that takes place from Monday to Friday, with weekends off unless the students are on maneuvers or arrested.

In addition, the students of the educational centers of the Armed Forces are entitled to a monthly salary of around 400 euros during the first two years and 600 from the third; although the Palacio de la Zarzuela has specified that the princess will renounce it.

Although the Government and the King’s House have designed a specific curriculum for the princess, an important part of military training involves her instruction “as combatants” and practices in command of small units.

For this, Leonor will have to join in activities as diverse as marches, topographical tours, shooting exercises or live fire exercises; all in both day and night environment, and with the weather conditions that exist at that time.

Physical preparation is considered one of the fundamental aspects of military training, with the aim of “creating sports habits in students and introducing them to different military sports”, such as orientation, shooting patrols or military pentathlon.

In any case, Leonor’s classmates will already have to have passed some strict tests before their access to the academy, mandatory and qualifying. Specifically, they will have to demonstrate their good physical condition by reaching the minimum mark in vertical jump, push-ups, speed, resistance and swimming tests.

But a previous filter will be marked by the grade obtained in the EBAU, since the Armed Forces officer academies require a high cut-off grade for access, similar to that of many engineering courses. Specifically, in the last year of the Army Academy, the cut-off grade for those who will be the first companions of the princess was 12.2. As for the Navy, the cut-off mark was 12.3 and, in the case of the Air Force, 12.7.
