The German basketball player Leonie Fiebich, a 24-year-old forward who is 1.92 meters tall, officially became a new Valencia Basket player this Saturday until the end of the 2025/26 season, after having successfully completed her medical examination.
The ‘taronja’ club indicated that said physical examination had taken place at the Quirónsalud Medical Center on Blasco Ibáñez Avenue, led by doctors Vicente Sebastiá and Sergio Calvache, responsible for the medical direction of the men’s and women’s teams.
“The medical examinations have consisted, as usual, of a complete examination of the musculoskeletal system, complete analysis, an electrocardiogram, an echocardiogram and a stress test, the latter supervised by Dr. Catheline Lauwers, head of the Cardiology Service. of the Quirónsalud Valencia Hospital,” Valencia Basket said in its press release.
In 2020, Fiebich was drafted by the Los Angeles Sparks. After a trade to Chicago Sky and later to New York Liberty, the player signed a rookie contract with the New York team at the beginning of this year. In her debut in the WNBA, last summer she helped win the first ring in the history of the franchise and also achieved some personal records.

The following season, Casademont Zaragoza acquired his services and completed his explosion after a successful summer in the Australian League with the Warwick Senators.
In her first season in the LF Endesa, she was named MVP of the competition with an average of 12.7 points, 6.1 rebounds and 17.4 efficiency per game and helped the Aragonese team win the Copa de la Copa title. Reina, who granted the ticket for the Euroleague.
