Legends and LaLiga Twentynine’s open their doors in Riyadh with “the largest collection in the history of football”

MADRID, 31 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Legends and LaLiga Twentynine’S have opened a new 2,500 square meter space in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) that aims to be the largest leisure center in the city with “the largest collection in the history of world football.”

According to a statement from the association, visitors will be able to take an interactive tour of “the largest collection in the history of world football,” which will exhibit 220 pieces of memorabilia and immersive 3D and 4D experiences. “They consolidate Saudi Arabia’s position as the nerve center of sport,” LaLiga noted.

The collection includes historical soccer shirts worn by soccer legends such as Pelé from Rio in the 1970s, Argentine Diego Armando Maradona’s shirt from the 1990 World Cup or the shirt that Lionel Messi wore in the 2022 World Cup against Saudi Arabia, a tournament that he ended up lifting.

In the 2,500 square meter space, which is located in Boulevard City, you can see “great relics” from competitions such as the Champions League, the Olympic Games, the Copa América, the Euro Cup and LaLiga, accompanied by “cutting-edge technology, immersive experiences and interactive technologies”.

As in those that already exist in Madrid, Port Aventura and Doha, the new project “will combine gastronomy, events, eSports and technological experiences”, in addition to having gaming competitions, prize draws and other experiences with ambassadors of the competition, according to LaLiga.

The opening ceremony was attended by the president of LaLiga, Javier Tebas; the president of Legends, Marcelo Ordás; and the ambassadors and legends of LaLiga Luis Figo and Ronaldo Nazario.

From LaLiga, they reported that this branch will be open for the next 15 years. “This new opening consolidates the success of the project and its global reach, consolidating Legends as the pinnacle of football collectibles around the world,” declared LaLiga executive director Óscar Mayo.
