CD Leganés seeks to return to the path of victory this weekend in its visit to an injured Real Zaragoza, to maintain and consolidate its leadership, with a cushion of four points, while its pursuers Real Sporting and Real Valladolid will examine their candidacy for the direct promotion against Cartagena and Levante, respectively, on matchday 18 of LaLiga Hypermotion 2023-2024.
The ‘Segunda’ faces the last month of competition in 2023 and is already approaching the halfway point of the competition. This Friday (9:00 p.m.) Real Oviedo and RCD Espanyol will open matchday 18, in a duel in which the ‘parakeets’, having gone four games undefeated and fourth with 31 points, want to continue the pace of promotion and challenge for the lead. They also want to continue their good dynamics with Elche on the rise, two points away from the fight for promotion, which visits Alcorcón, and Racing, with 27, which will have to overcome an irregular Mirandés in the middle of the table. The day will close on Monday with Villarreal ‘B’-Eibar, with the Castellón team fighting to get away from relegation and the ‘armeros’ immersed in the fight to be promoted to the top category.
