Tobias Harris scored 29 points for the Philadelphia Sixers, who beat the Los Angeles Lakers 108-91, for whom LeBron James got a historic mark.

With a tribute to Kobe Bryant written in his Nikes, James surpassed the great Los Angeles retired by third place in the NBA career scorer list, scoring 29 points in the loss.

James scribbled “Mamba 4 Life” while chasing Bryant, the five-time champion, in Philadelphia.

James scored the historic basket with 7:23 remaining in the third quarter. James entered 18 points before moving on to Bryant, and the score gave him 33,644 points. James ranks third with 33,655. Bryant finished his career with 33,643, all with the Lakers.

James greeted the Philadelphia crowd that gave him an enthusiastic ovation when the public announcement announcer announced the brand.

The Sixers also published a graphic of the top 10 NBA career scorers with images of James in Lakers and Miami Heat shirts.

James, 35, entered averaging at least 25 points (25.2 per game) for sixteenth consecutive season and has played 44 games this season.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is the leading scorer of the NBA race with 38,387 points and Karl Malone is second with 36,928.

James is on his way to beating Abdul-Jabbar in about three seasons. The four best scorers in NBA history played for the Lakers, who signed James as a free agent in 2018.

James moved to Bryant in Philadelphia, where the Lakers' retired star was born. James, who played in eight consecutive NBA Finals, has 6,911 postseason points with Cleveland and Miami that don't count in the official total.

James's magic number and Anthony Davis' 31 points were not enough to help the Lakers.

James played 35 minutes, scored 9 of 18 field shots, 1 of 6 triples, 10 of 13 from the personnel line, achieved seven rebounds and delivered eight assists.

For the Sixers, Ben Simmons contributed double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds, while Dominican player Al Horford made 16.

Horford played 35 minutes and scored 6 of 9 field shots, including 2 of 5 triples, 2 of 2 from the personnel line, achieved six rebounds and delivered one assist.
