Lazio draw in the Inzaghi duel

The fratricidal duel between Pippo Inzaghi's Benevento and Simone Inzaghi's Lazio ended this Tuesday in a draw (1-1) in a match corresponding to the 12th round of Serie A. The Golden Boot Ciro Immobile advanced to the 'laziale' ( Bayern rivals, European champions, in the Champions League round of 16) with a great goal, but at the end of the break Pasquale Schiattarella drew level (who was sent off for a tackle to Ciro Immobile in 92 ').

The confrontation between the Inzaghi brothers was very attractive, and in the end there was no winner. And this despite the fact that Lazio advanced in the 25th minute, when Sergej Milinkovic-Savic sent a cross that Immobile took advantage of to score with a great technical gesture.

It was not, however, the beginning of a placid night for Lazio, because Simone Inzaghi's men not only could not increase their advantage but before the break Schiattarella took advantage of a loose ball to achieve 1-1 after connecting a shot on the fly with the left.

The match started with a double chance for Benevento, but Pepe Reina, Lazio goalkeeper, deflected Glik's shot in the 6th minute. In the 22 'Luis Alberto crashed a ball into the post for the Romans. In the final stretch it was Milinkovic-Savic who was able to score to give Lazio the victory, but he shot wide. Tables in the duel between Simone and Pippo Inzaghi. Lazio is 8th and Benevento 13th.
