Last train of the Champions League for Getafe

Real Valladolid, with the need for a couple more pushes to seal their salvation almost definitively, will measure Getafe's bad return to competition, which will try to get on one of the last trains that lead to their long-awaited dream of playing in the League of Champions.

Perhaps Real Sociedad and Getafe are the teams most affected by the three-month hiatus generated by the coronavirus health crisis. In March, they were both marching steadily in the fight to finish LaLiga in the top four. Now, on the return, none have yet achieved a victory.

Many changes are expected at Real Valladolid, with respect to the visit he made to the Wanda Metropolitano, since neither Míchel nor Waldo may be called due to accumulation of cards, while Sandro and Pedro Porro are, a priori, doubtful until they see the evolution of his ailments.

The Catalan coach, Sergio González, introduced many modifications in this clash against the rojiblancos, making Matheus Fernandes, Kike Pérez and José Antonio Caro debut in the First Division and it is expected that, in the face of this appointment against the Madrid fans, he will recover the most common.

After the resumption of LaLiga, Getafe began with a defeat in Granada (2-1), continued with a goalless draw against Espanyol despite playing with one more man for 75 minutes and ended their third draw with tables, against Eibar (1-1), that could have been a defeat if they had not canceled a goal at the end of Pedro Bigas due to a millimeter offside. His coach, José Bordalás, is aware that his team is not at the same level as in the month of March, but he hopes to recover soon to end the losing streak. Even the Europa League is already in danger.

Bordalás has decided to leave his two Brazilians out of the call for technical reasons. Neither Deyverson Silva nor Alan Kenedy, two regulars on the Alicante coach's lists, will travel to Valladolid. Neither will be a couple of injured: the Nigerian Peter Etebo, with muscular discomfort, and the Uruguayan Erick Cabaco, who is recovering from a problem in his right ankle that forced him to abandon the clash against Espanyol two days ago.

However, the good news for Bordalás is the presence of David Timor, who finished the duel against Eibar with a strong blow and has recovered in time to travel to Valladolid. In addition, an unprecedented man to date such as the Moroccan Fayçal Fajr, returns to the call together with the youth squads Hugo Duro and Florent Poulolo.

Probable lineups:

Real Valladolid: Masip; Moyano, Kiko Olivas, Salisu, Raúl Carnero or Nacho; Óscar Plano, Rubén Alcaraz, Joaquín, Toni Villa; Enes Ünal and Sergi Guardiola.

Getafe: Soria; Damián, Djené, Etxeita, Olivera; Nyom, Arambarri, Maksimovic, Cucurella; Jaime Mata and Jorge Molina

Referee: Soto Grado (Riojano Committee).

Stadium: José Zorrilla.

Time: 7:30 p.m. (Movistar LaLiga)
