MADRID, 19 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Las Palmas will seek this Friday (9:00 p.m.) at the Gran Canaria Stadium against Mirandés the provisional leadership of LaLiga SmartBank, in the early match of the twenty-fourth day of the championship that will conclude on Monday with Andorra-Albacete for the fight for the ‘play-off’ promotion.
The Canarian team, with 42 points and one behind leader Eibar, will try to extend their streak of three games without losing -two wins and a draw- to dethrone the armored team, which visits Ponferrada this Saturday, at the top of the Second table.
“Mirandés has become the best team in the last 10 days. Any Second Division game is very difficult, but if we have the ball they can suffer,” said the coach of the yellow team, Francisco Javier García Pimienta.
For his part, coach Miguel Ángel Ramírez will make his league debut as a substitute for Abelardo at Sporting, after the Cup elimination against Valencia, against a Real Zaragoza team that has improved since the arrival of Fran Escribá and is trying to get closer to the sixth place, in another of the outstanding matches of the day.
