Laporta awaits Real Madrid’s puncture in LaLiga

If Laporta is already optimistic, the 0-4 victory at the Bernabéu has triggered the expectations of the president of Barcelona, who in an interview with Mundo Deportivo assures that the Blaugrana team has options to win LaLiga despite being 12 points from Madrid with ten matchdays to go (Barça still has one match pending against the whites).

The culé president considers that Madrid, due to the few rotations that Ancelotti makes, will end up having a downturn that the Blaugrana team will take advantage of.

“Madrid has to enter a low phase, because it has kept thirteen or fourteen fixed players, and we have had more versatility. We have had low moments especially at the beginning and now we are in a good moment and we face this last stretch with the hope of being able to compete for the League. We are at twelve points, if we beat Rayo we will be at nine and we have to think that we have to win all the games. It is a very big challenge but we like challenges and the whole club has this mentality.

The Blaugrana president adds in the interview that he did not want to offend anyone with his photo on the pitch at the Bernabéu at the end of the game and thanked Madrid for the treatment received during his visit: “We always maintained respect. And I want to emphasize that a minute was of silence for the death of Raimon Carrasco and that minute of silence was respected, with which I want to publicly thank the Bernabéu fans for a Barça president. And we behave with absolute respect, we always act like this and we also appreciated the minute of silence. On the other hand, it’s the typical celebration you do when you win a game, the players in the locker room with music, but everyone does it. And with the sports management we took a photo, I don’t think it bothered anyone, at the end of that emblematic match. We come from times that were not good and it was confirmation that we are on the right track. That photo was not taken with the intention of offending anyone, on the contrary. It was a nice moment for us in that we were excited, but we didn’t do somersaults or somersaults either.”
