Lamar Jackson, the quarterback for the Ravens, had a “MVP performance” as Baltimore defeated the Niners.

On Christmas Eve, several MVP contenders took the field. One remained standing after the Baltimore Ravens defeated the 49ers of San Francisco 33-19.

Lamar Jackson was outstanding; he tore up the solid Niners defense for 252 passing yards, two touchdowns, and a passer rating of 105.9.

He also did not throw any interceptions. Jackson led Baltimore in rushing as well, gaining 45 yards on seven rushes.

Although the raw numbers are impressive, Jackson consistently converts bad plays into good ones and offers more to the game than just a high box score.

According to the team’s official website, Ravens coach John Harbaugh stated, “I thought Lamar delivered an MVP performance tonight.”

“To produce a performance like that, a team is required, but for a player to perform at that caliber—at the MVP level—that player must play.” And Lamar was doing everything on the field.”

Jackson wrote off his effort as nothing more than securing a crucial victory in the race for the AFC’s top seed.

The QB continued the play two plays later, looking downfield as he found Nelson Agholor on a six-yard touchdown, and the game was soon under control.

“The ‘dub’ is here. I don’t really give a damn about how I perform,” Jackson declared. “Winning is all I desire, and that’s what occurred this evening. That was my Christmas present.”

In the opening drive of the fourth quarter for Baltimore, Jackson found room to get a release pass to Gus Edwards, which resulted in a 39-yard gain.

With the Ravens averaging 26.5 points per game in those six games, Jackson improved to 6-0 in his career against top-five scoring defenses along the way.

Throughout the whole Monday night game, the quarterback defied pressure, making throws outside of the pocket to turn potential losses into victories. His 30-yard dash at the end of the half set up a field goal to expand the Ravens’ lead.

After the Ravens achieved their most spectacular victory of the season, Jackson might not be bothered by talk of MVP, but his fellow players were ready to rally behind their captain.

He is an all-around talent. Zay Flowers, a rookie receiver, remarked, “You saw it tonight.”” He led the team, ran the ball, and tossed it.

The MVP is outstanding compared to other players in the league. Check out his film in comparison to other league players. After that, I’d be interested in hearing what another person has to say.

“Without a doubt, Lamar Jackson is the MVP,” stated linebacker Roquan Smith. “Anyone who follows or is familiar with football can see the kind of impact Joe has on the game—not even in terms of stats, but just in terms of the plays that he makes play in play out, play in play out, and quarter in play out.

Despite being the top seed, Baltimore’s season ended in the Divisional Round, even though Jackson was the undisputed NFL MVP in 2019. This time around, the quarterback’s only concern is winning in the postseason.

“We remember what it was like in 2019, when we were winning ordinary season games and competing against [teams] similar to this one. We didn’t complete the season when that moment came, according to Jackson.

We shall simply continue to approach each day, practice, and game as they come. That’s all I have on my mind at the moment.”
