LaLiga takes Getafe to Barajas so as not to postpone the match

LaLiga rejected Getafe's request to postpone the match they are due to play this afternoon in Elche and found an absolutely unexpected solution. They asked for a list with the complete expedition of the azulón team and they were picking up the players in cars (UBER), technicians, props, communication … at their homes and transferring them to a hotel next to the Barajas airport to spend the night there and travel by plane to Alicante in the morning. In this way, LaLiga avoids the possibility that the Madrid club alleges that its players could not reach the stadium due to the storm. The flight is scheduled at 11:30 in the morning and then the team would travel by coach to Elche. Getafe has not trained for three days and there is no official call. The players who had physical problems have not been able to be explored and the entire squad, except for those injured and penalized, will move to the city of Alicante.

In the event that air traffic is not reopened and the expedition cannot travel by charter as planned, LaLiga has offered a plan B that Getafe would have to follow and consists of traveling by AVE to Alicante. In that case, and if necessary, LaLiga cars would also take the Azulona expedition from Barajas to Atocha station.
