LaLiga reinforces its commitment to the United Kingdom by opening an office in London

LaLiga has opened an office in London within its global development strategy to strengthen its presence in the United Kingdom and strengthen the international positioning of the Spanish competition, the value of the brand and the relationship with fans and their clubs in the world, reports it's a statement.

The Director of Business and International Development of LaLiga, Oscar Mayo, explained that LaLiga thus contributes “to the growth of LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank clubs in key markets, adding business opportunities thanks to the advice of the association's experts in each region”.

LaLiga's office in London is located in one of the technological and business enclaves of the British capital. Located in the Kings Cross area, one of the best connected points, has access to the main airports and train stations.

LaLiga president Javier Tebas said: “The United Kingdom is one of the most strategic markets for both LaLiga and its clubs. From the business point of view, it is the headquarters of the main media, broadcasters and sponsors of the world” . In fact, the British country is the last one that has seen LaLigaTV land, the premium content platform broadcasting 24 hours every day of the week, which is broadcast through the Sky and Virgin TV platforms, also in Ireland.

LaLiga's work team in London is led by the delegates of LaLiga Global Network, Keegan Pierce and Javier del Río. The work of the office is focused on the identification and activation of possible business opportunities in the region and the relationship with LaLiga and its clubs.

LaLiga has 46 delegates worldwide in offices in ten countries

The opening of this office is another step in the internationalization strategy of LaLiga and, therefore, of its clubs. The objective of these spaces is to serve as a link between local entities and organizations with the 42 clubs and SADs that currently make up LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank.

There are currently 46 delegates from LaLiga Global Network throughout the world, as well as LaLiga has offices in the United States, Mexico, Belgium, Nigeria, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, India, Singapore, China (Beijing and Shanghai) and the United Kingdom.
