LaLiga, through its educational department LaLiga Business School, has presented the third edition of the 'Global Players Program', aimed at active LaLiga players and in collaboration with the Association of Spanish Footballers (AFE), in order to provide the footballer “with the ideal tools to face these new challenges” after his retirement.
“LaLiga has the objective that players understand the sports industry from all angles, that they reflect on the opportunities and trajectories that they can choose after their retirement from the playing fields, and provide them with the ideal tools to face these new challenges “LaLiga highlighted in a statement.
This course, after two editions, returns to provide a “firm option in terms of training for professional footballers”, offering them tools and knowledge to guide their professional career beyond the field of play.
For five months, players who decide to be part of the 'Global Players Program' project will have eight 'webinars' at their disposal focused on learning about their work environment and, in addition, this streaming training will be completed with three days of face-to-face sessions in the headquarters of LaLiga at the end of the season.
The director of LaLiga Business School, José Moya, is clear that 'Global Players Program' “is a unique initiative within the sports industry and an opportunity for players to know what options they have to focus their professional career at the end of their sports career. “.
“LaLiga seeks to place the footballer at the center and that is why the content, formats and schedules are adapted so that they can get the most out of this training,” he concluded.
