LaLiga Genuine Santander crowns the champions of the 2022/23 season in Vila-real

LaLiga Genuine Santander crowned the champions of the 2022/23 season this Sunday in Vila-real, with Fundación Celta Integra, Nàstic de Tarragona and Athletic Club Fundazioa, winners of Fair Play for this 2022/23 season, while RCD Espanyol, the RCD Mallorca and CA Osasuna raised the sports trophies.

The 2022/23 season of LaLiga Genuine Santander has concluded in the city of Vila-real in the presence of the more than 1,000 players and coaching staff that make up this inclusive league in a spectacular festive atmosphere after 8 months of competition.

The José Manuel Llaneza Sports City was the setting chosen by the host club, Villarreal CF, to host the last days of the 5th edition of this unique project in the world. Hundreds of fans have wanted to accompany the 44 teams participating in LaLiga Genuine Santander throughout the weekend, showing that the values ​​of this competition are also very present in the stands.

In addition to the exciting 66 games that have been played over these two days, an end-of-season party was held on Saturday night, attended by all members of the project. The culmination has come this Sunday with the closing ceremony of the phase, with the six winners of the 2022/23 season.

The sports champions have been RCD Espanyol in the Sports Group, RCD Mallorca in the Compañerismo Group, and CA Osasuna in the Respect Group. For their part, the champion clubs of the Fair Play trophies have been Fundación Celta Integra in the Sports Group, Nàstic de Tarragona in the Compañerismo Group, and Athletic Club Fundazioa in the Respect Group.

Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, and Fernando Roig, president of Villarreal CF, were in charge of presiding over the ceremony, accompanied by other institutional representatives of Villarreal CF and LaLiga, as well as the competition’s associated brands.
