LaLiga celebrates its 2nd Meeting of the Stars at the Wanda Metropolitano

MADRID, 29 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The League held its 2nd Meeting of the Stars this Friday at the Wanda Metropolitano, a football match in which ambassadors from the competition faced off against a group of renowned Ibero-American actors for a good cause, collaborating with Ukraine.

The ambassadors of LaLiga and a select cast of Ibero-American actors and actresses have dressed in shorts to play a football match on an unbeatable stage like the lawn of the Wanda Metropolitano in a joint initiative between LaLiga and the Platino Awards, which will be held on Sunday May 1.

The match had a charity component, as one of the novelties was the collaboration with the Red Cross, which will auction part of the products used during the match through the Match Worn Shirt platform, from shirts to the official ball with which played. The people affected by the invasion of Ukraine will be the recipients of the funds that are raised.

Among the LaLiga ambassadors who have participated are Fernando Hierro, Xabi Prieto, Fernando Morientes, Gaizka Mendieta, Aintzane Encinas, Javier Saviola, Fernando Sanz, Luis García and César Sánchez, among others.

The artists they have faced are a selection of Ibero-American actors and actresses, including Abril Zamora, Jesús Castro, China Suárez, Franco Masini, Arturo Valls, Carolina Gaitán, Carlos Ponce, Ale Nones, Daniel Guzmán, Adrián Lastra, Andrea Duro, Juan Pablo Urrego, Antonio Velázquez, Eduardo Rosa, Ilse Salas, Marc Clotet, Amaury Nolasco, Carolina Ramírez and Miguel Lago, among others.

In the match, where the result was the least important, all the participants were able to enjoy a different day in which good harmony was the dominant trend, highlighting camaraderie and the desire to contribute to a good cause. This is the second edition of an event that has been made possible by the collaboration between the Platinum Awards, which will be delivered next Sunday, May 1, and LaLiga, which wants to bring football closer to other areas of culture.
