LaLiga and the Organizing Committee for the Krakow-Malopolska 2023 European Games, which are held from June 21 to July 2, have signed a collaboration agreement on Wednesday with the aim of “promoting the celebration of the Games among sports fans “, as well as to promote Krakow, Maloposka and Poland as tourist destinations, according to a statement from the employer.
The European Games will welcome 7,000 athletes from 48 countries who will compete in 28 sports disciplines during 12 event days in 11 different cities. “It is an appointment with the best of European sport that is the prelude to the 2024 Paris Games in which 18 disciplines will determine their representation,” the statement said.
This agreement will allow the Spanish employers to support the “promotion” of the European Games with their “experience”, giving “visibility to the event both in the broadcasts of certain LaLiga Santander and LaLiga Smartbank matches and through its multiple digital channels”. . The goal is to make the European Games “a popular and high-value event in Europe and around the world” and “give a boost among sports fans to Europe’s leading multi-sports event.”
