LaLiga and Movistar will begin to offer in the season 21/22 the new multi-camera signal in its broadcasts, a production made by Mediapro, It will be made up of four signals on a single split screen, as well as a real-time statistics module, extracted from the Mediacoach game data analysis system.
The objective is to offer the viewer an alternative match signal in which they can enjoy different perspectives and match data through a new and more personalized experience of some LaLiga Santander matches, taking advantage of and making the most of the technical and technological resources that exist today. This signal will be based on the shot of the live master camera, complemented by Statistics and 3D graphics from Mediacoach, in addition to plans of the special cameras. This main screen will be complemented by three more: a screen with a close-up image of the ball tracking and the player who wears it at all times; a screen that will follow the game from the goals, thanks to the mini-cameras of goal and those of high bottom, that will allow a higher plane; and a bench tracking screen, which will alternate shots of the local and visiting benches.
The multi-camera signal will be available through a second channel, on traditional linear channels as well as on their OTT platforms, both for operators with national and international rights.
In addition, the main audio of this Multiscreen Signal will be the narration of the match by casters / streamers, thus giving continuity to the LaLiga Casters project., which has been so successful last season among young audiences. Of the three games, one will be narrated by the regular commentators of the LaLiga Casters program. (Ibai Llanos, Ander Cortés, Ulises Prieto, …) and the other two by regular eLaLiga Santander streamers. There will also be the option in Movistar + to enjoy the Multiscreen Signal with the traditional narration of your commentators through a second audio channel.
