LaLiga and Alianza Lima join forces for the development and professionalization of the minor categories in Peru

MADRID, 6 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

LaLiga and Alianza Lima announced this Wednesday a long-term collaboration project in the technical and sporting fields, through a program that will help the professionalization of the minor categories of the blue and white club.

“The objective is clear: to develop all the training stages and bet on the young talent of Peru. This project responds to the need to create a sports structure capable of helping the progress of the great young talent emerging in the country,” says LaLiga in a statement.

“LALIGA remains faithful to its commitment to the international development of football and the youngest talent at a global level. We are very pleased to join Alianza Lima, a club with a top-level professional structure and a clear commitment to training. We believe that We can work together in the best way for the development of its minor categories and its growth as a club,” commented Rodrigo Gallego, LaLiga delegate in Peru.

“Spain has shown that it is one of the best countries in the world to train football talent, while Alianza Lima wants to become a benchmark in the training of minors not only in Peru but in Latin America. In that sense, working alongside LaLiga is a huge opportunity for the growth of the club; we are delighted and excited about the impact that this alliance can have for the institution,” said José Bellina, Sports Development Manager of Alianza Lima.

“The project, with a duration of 18 months, aims to build solid pillars that allow the blue and white club to transform and enhance the best of its youth system. To guarantee its success, a LaLiga technical director, with a UEFA Pro license and experience in youth quarries the LaLiga clubs, will accompany the development process and will work on its implementation alongside José Bellina,” explains the Spanish football association.

“This strategic alliance will consist of two stages: in the first, a specific methodology will be designed for Alianza Lima; in the second, workshops, training and online and offline courses will be held for the club's staff with a focus on the development of the youth team. All of this will ensure the exchange of knowledge between both institutions and the fulfillment of the project objectives,” he concludes.
