Real Betis announced this Friday the renewal of Mexican midfielder Diego Lainez until 2025, one more year than he had in his previous contract, while also reporting the player’s loan to Portuguese SC Braga.
“Real Betis Balompié and Diego Lainez have today signed the extension of the contract that unites them for the next three years. In this way, the Mexican soccer player remains attached to the Verdiblanco Club until 2025,” says the Betis club on its official website.
In the same statement, the Andalusian team announces the transfer of Lainez, who arrived at Betis in January 2019 but has failed to gain the trust of his various coaches.
“Furthermore, Real Betis and SC Braga have agreed to loan Diego Lainez to the Portuguese entity for the 2022/2023 season. The club wishes the player the best in this new stage of his sports career,” he adds.
